The Barnes Construction Story
We’ve Been Building, Remodeling and Improving Homes in Idaho Since 1982
Barnes Construction has been in the general contracting and construction business in the Treasure Valley since 1982.
In that time, we’re proud to have built a solid reputation and good working relationships with our sub-contractors and suppliers as well as the county and city building officials in the Caldwell-Nampa-Boise area.
We are enthusiastic to provide you with the quality and experience needed to complete any project in a timely and professional manner.

Our Leadership
Duane Barnes
Founder & CEO
Over 40 years construction experience, most of them as business owner.
Duane is a lifetime resident of the Caldwell, Idaho area. He graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy in 1975 and entered construction shortly thereafter. He married the love of his life, Kathy, in 1977. Duane and Kathy have 3 sons and 13 grandchildren (and counting).
Bryan Barnes
Project Manager & Estimator
More than two decades in construction and architecture. Born and raised in Idaho.
Bryan graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy in 1998 and earned his AS Degree in Architectural Drafting & Engineering from Hightech Institute in Phoenix. Married to the love of his life, Katrina, they have 4 daughters and 2 sons.
Kathy Barnes
Co-Founder, CFO
37 Years Account Manager for Barnes Construction.
Co-founder of Barnes Construction and also a licensed insurance agent with CISR and CIC designations, Kathy has been the administrative backing since the beginning. Her expertise and professionalism help our projects to be completed efficiently, on budget and on time.
